Over the last weeks, multiple art fairs were performed across the globe, some of which assumed more importance because they were held simultaneously with the New York Art Week. Moreover, photography-oriented art fairs in New York and London and the gathering of works by artists from all over the world in east Asia attracted a broad audience.

More than twenty independent arts organizations were involved in displaying artworks during the New York Art Week. This unprecedented situation happened concurrently with art fairs such as TEFAF New York 2022, Independent, NADA New York, and Future Fair

This year, the 9th edition of TEFAF New York gathered 91 galleries from different countries and introduced 11 new exhibitors in its online section. The 13th edition of the Independent art fair was held in Spring Studios. Collaboration between 66 galleries from around the world and the various independent projects made it possible for the event to present its audience with different experiences. The 8th edition of NADA New York was held in Lower East Side. Besides works by artists worldwide, paintings by Abdolreza Aminlari and an artwork by Sheida Soleimani were exhibited at this event. Among all art fairs held concurrently with the New York Art Week, Future Fair was the youngest. It performed its 2nd edition in which artworks were physically presented. A series of paintings by Reihaneh Hosseini were displayed at this event. These were her personal experiences depicted as figurative portraits.

During the last month, some art fairs were mainly focused on photography and presented works with distinct approaches: Photo London, Pop Up Photography New York, and The Photography Show by AIPAD. The Photography Show by AIPAD is a well-established photography-oriented art fair that displayed works by photographers worldwide in its 41st edition. At this event, Robert Klein Gallery presented a series of photographs titled "Land/s" by Gohar Dashti. At the MENART fair, which is concentrated on artists from the Middle East and Africa, works by Shahpour Pouyan, Masoud Sadedin, Mohammad Hossein Emad, Seyed Asadollah Shariatpanahi, Kaveh Kavousi, Younes Faghihi, Ghasem Hajizadeh, Reza Derakhshani, Hoda Kashiha, and Moje Assefjah are displayed.
