Statement:
The Tasvir Project is delighted to announce the artists selected for our September 2024 exhibition, which will be held on September 6th, 2024, at Northlight Gallery at Arizona State University.///
After a rigorous curatorial process, A total of 173 artworks from 59 artists have been selected to showcase their work, selected from a pool of 266 Iranian image-based artists.
These participants contributed over 4000 images and 300 photo series from more than 10 countries, including Iran, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Canada, Belgium, Austria, Australia, Turkey, the UAE, and Finland.
Also, throughout the event, we will feature a slideshow celebrating all the artists who contributed to the archive, highlighting the rich diversity of Iranian image- based art.
This archival project serves as a resource for artists, photographers, scholars, critics, professors, students, and those interested in Iranian arts, providing foundational information and insights into the multifaceted world of Iranian image-based art.
