Frieze was  founded in 1991 with launch of Frieze magazine, focusing on contemporary art and culture. Since then Frieze has grown to become an establishe brand. It now stages five international art fairs: Frieze London, Frieze Masters, Frieze Los Angeles, Frieze New York and recently launched Frieze Seoul.  Founded in 2012, Frieze New York focuses on contemporary and modern galleries. 

The fair returns to the Shed in New York this year with a new curator for Focus, more than 60 galleries from 25 countries and a extensive program of events and activations

In addition, a dedicated edition of Frieze Viewing Room will run concurrently with the fair, connecting international galleries and audiences from all around the world.
