Statement:

Conducted between 2019 and 2022, Cavity is the result of a long-term search for spaces that resonate with my imagination and visual memory.

For me, these images are far more than mere records of real places; they belong to spaces that may have emerged from fragmented memories, an ambiguous dream, a recurring nightmare, or the lingering image of a scene from a film.

In making this series, I did not construct scenes or stage environments; instead, I sought out places that seemed to preexist in my mind.

In these spaces, objects and elements appear to coexist according to an unfamiliar logic, their unsettling quality drawing them closer to the atmosphere of a dream.
