The 17th Edition of Contemporary Istanbul Art Fair 

Sponsored by Akbank,  Contemporary Istanbul 2022, will run from September 19 to 21, 2022. The show's private preview will be held from September 16 to 18. This year, about 60 contemporary art galleries from at least 25 countries will gather to present more than 1500 artworks by 600 artists. Additionally, as a part of the art fair, the Yard exhibition will display installations by famous Turkish artists along with several unique cultural innovations of the country.  

It should be noted that three Iranian galleries attended the 16th edition of the art fair: Iranshahr Gallery (8 artists), Mohsen Gallery (7 artists), and Bavan Gallery (3 artists).  

About the Contemporary Istanbul Art Fair 

The Contemporary Istanbul Art Fair is one of Turkey's most significant art events. It is an art organization consisting of global galleries and art institutions and has been working in modern and contemporary art fields since 2006. Each year, the art fair displays work by selected artists in different fields of art, including modern and contemporary painting, sculpture, video art, photography, and installation, to support new ideas.
