The 5th Edition of "Arco Lisboa" Art Fair

The 5th edition of Arco Lisboa art fair ran from May 19 to 22, 2022 in Lisbon, Portugal. Providing a platform for gathering galleries, collectors, artists, and art experts from around the world, the art fair displayed artworks presented by about 70 galleries. This event was mainly focused on public exhibitions performed by galleries that have presented projects on a national and global scale.  

Arco Lisboa 2022 consisted of two main sections: "Africa in Focus" in which galleries from different African countries attended; "Opening Lisboa" which was aimed at supporting innovative contents and researches in the art field by introducing new galleries. Besides the main sections, a special space was dedicated to contemporary art publications so as to give them the opportunity to interact with visitors. About 11000 viewers came to visit the art fair.  

In addition to introducing Portuguese artists to the world, the art fair displayed artworks from 13 other countries. Among the galleries that attended the "Opening Lisboa" section, Delgosha Gallery presented works by the painters Niaz Babatabar and Mostafa Sarabi. "Magical Forest" alongside an untitled work by Niaz Babatabar, and two artworks by Mostafa Sarabi, both untitled, were exhibited.
