Masoud Arabshahi's Artwork Auctioned at Bonhams' "Siegfried & Roy"

Bonhams Los Angeles will hold an auction titled "Siegfried & Roy: Masters of the Impossible" on June 8 and 9, 2022. Bonhams is the fourth biggest auction house in the world which is focused on artworks, antiques, jewelry, automobiles, and other decorative objects. In this auction, objects from Siegfried and Roy's private collection, as well as artworks by famous artists, will be sold for charity.

An artwork by Iranian respected artist, Massoud Arabshahi, is presented at this auction. The work with a scale of 106 × 127 cm, is created using mixed media on canvas as in most of his works. Using geometric surfaces consolidated by lines, colors, and textures, Arabshahi, as a pioneering artist, has created imaginary and mysterious compositions and atmospheres, some of which include ancient Islamic architectural elements and structures.  

 

Bonhams has evaluated this artwork (No. 215) with an estimated price of $10/000 to 15/000.
