The catalogue opens with a substantial section dedicated to women, both the most important female photographers on the world stage (Francesca Woodman, Sandy Skoglund, Shirin Neshat just to name a few) and women as subjects, before moving on to shots by the Venetians Berengo Gardin and Fulvio Roiter, Luigi Ghirri and Franco Fontana, and then to the American Gregory Crewdson.
