Christie’s Paris presents 20th/21st Century Art, an online auction encompassing the myriad styles, trends and artistic movements prevalent across this era.
The sale offers a panorama of works at the forefront of post-war and contemporary art, design, photography and impressionist and modern art. Together, these works create a dialogue between the French and international art scenes: between Auguste Rodin and Wang Keping, Matisse and Manoucher Yektai, Bernard Buffet and Dado, and Tamara de Lempicka and Niki de Saint Phalle. Other notable names include František Kupka, Hans Hartung, Gérard Schneider, Jean Dubuffet, Victor Vasarely, Peter Halley and many others.
The auction also features the second chapter of the Collection of Danute and Alain Mallart, Brussels – Paris – Vilnius, bringing important works representative of the contemporary landscape (Lots 158-192).
Online bidding will be opened from 26 November to 10 December, with works on view in Christie's Avenue Matignon galleries from 6 to 10 December.
