13 days to the ending

Statement:
Creating art for today’s younger generation is no longer merely an aesthetic pursuit; rather, it is an act of survival, a way of recording personal history, and an insistence on identity.
The present exhibition offers a selective visual narrative of the lived world of this generation, a generation that has endured ongoing social and political upheavals, successive events, and historical transitions, while consciously insisting on remaining artists.
From its inception to the present, the Surrounding project has sought to trace the impact of the surrounding world on the mind, language and expression of the contemporary young artist, while bringing forward this question: what is the place of the surrounding in contemporary art?
How does today’s artist internalize the external world through lived experience and recreate it through color, form and figuration?
As the third exhibition in this ongoing project, the present show seeks to explore the boundary between the surrounding world and the artist’s inner world, in order to ask once again how, within this geography, the creation of art has itself become a form of resistance and resilience.
