Today, there was a patch of mould

the blood and bones upon the grass?

What was in your mind

as you plunged into the rain-filled cloud?

Had the blood already drained from your eyes,

and had your teeth frozen

in the rush of air?

Great falls are remembered

in red and white.

The minds of those who witness them

are red and white.

Red is the white of the eyes,

and white are the cheeks

that once were roses...
