Statement:

C is a language teacher. In the film that tells her story, we see her almost constantly taking photographs—of the neighbor’s dog, the food on the table, her friends’ faces, abandoned glasses, of everything.

M asks:

Why do you keep taking pictures of everything?

C replies:

Because the only way to change things is to look at them more slowly.
