After a Thousand Years, Echoes from the World of Ferdowsi’s

Statement:

A thousand years later, voices still emerge from the heart of ancient narratives, words, and images — voices of suffering, resilience, hope, and destiny.

After a Thousand Years is an attempt to create a contemporary encounter with the memory of myth, language, and image; a space where the past is revisited not as a distant story, but as a living and ongoing presence.‏

The works in this collection spanning painting, sculpture, and calligraphy are not merely representations of historical or literary narratives, but personal responses to concepts that continue to persist in contemporary human experience.

Here, word and image exist side by side; at times through form and color, and at others through script and writing.‏

Coinciding with the commemoration day of Abu al-Qasim Ferdowsi, this exhibition pays tribute to a legacy that has remained alive within the language and culture of this land for centuries.

After a Thousand Years is an invitation to listen and to see once more — to encounter voices and images that have ‏still not fallen silent in today’s world.
