Statement:
Gohar Dashti is an Iranian photographer based in Boston whose work has been widely exhibited internationally and is held in major museum and private collections.
This solo exhibition brings together three photographic series—Uprooted, Land/s, and Transformed Landscape—examining the relationship between people, displacement, and the environment.
Through carefully staged images, Dashti explores themes of migration, memory, and the ways political and social forces reshape landscapes and lived experience.
