Parinaz Eleish Gharagozlou's artistic journey unfolds across painting, film, and writing an ongoing exploration of image, rhythm, and storytelling. Trained in film production and painting, she moves fluidly between media, guided not by tools but by intuition. "I paint as if I am a storyteller, and I write as if I am painting," she says. In her work, rhythm becomes as vital as color; fragments mirror the way a film editor construct meaning from pieces of footage. ///

Through oil remains her preferred medium, she embraces collage, printed paper, and mixed media materials that let her merge image and word, creating visual poetr. Her larg-scale canvases offer layered encounters: from afar, they from cohesive compositions,  yet up close, a multitude of details emerges trees that build a forest, fragments that reveal new narratives.

In stories in Thousands Pieces, Gharagozlou assembles a mosaic of moments scattered and torn like colored shards of flass reimagined into wholeness. Fragmentsof laughter and paint, the color of rain and the scent of sunsets become traces of memory and imagination.  Each piece reconstructs what time has scattered turning the evidence of daily life into luminous meditations on continuity, history, and shared human experience.

Newspapers, ofte  embedded within her compositions, serve as witnesses to time guiding, misleading, and documenting our collective journey. Her refusal to frame the canvases allows the stories to extend beyond their edges, suggesting that the narrative of life, like her art is never truly complete.
