Statement:
This body of work pays homage to the quiet narratives of everyday life — reflections on the fluid, elusive nature of human existence.
Some of these stories are drawn from personal experience; others have been reconstructed through observing fragments of memory shared by strangers — hazy images that resurface and take shape in the mind.
I believe such narratives form the very spine of the world; without them, human life seems stripped of meaning — like a room emptied of its every detail.
To me, the still life serves as an eternal witness to mortal lives — those that once were, those that are, and those yet to come.
Everything that gathers dust — a clock on a table, the folds of a curtain, a vase of withered flowers — these inanimate objects, motionless yet undying, bear silent testimony to the most intimate moments of human experience.
