This event, which is a part of a series of auctions titled "London to Paris 20/21", is assigned to art from the 20th and 21st centuries. Building on the success of its 2021 sales ($178/321/022), Christie's Paris Post-War and Contemporary Art auction will run its next edition in 2022. The event aims to provide a platform for artistic dialogue between London and Paris, especially their important representatives in abstract art in painting and sculpture.

Artworks with the highest estimated prices are Lot 209 (€200/000 – 300/000) by Hans Hartung, the German-French painter, and Lot 225 (€180/000 – 200/000) by Frech sculptor, Germaine Richier.

An artwork titled "Beyzi + Nokte" (1971) by Charles Hossein Zenderoudi, the Iranian modernist artist, is presented in the auction with an estimated price of €50/000 to 70/000. He is one of the most prominent artists in calligraphic painting. One of his works, titled "As a Mirror," was recently sold at Sotheby's Paris for €150/000.
