The VenoArt National Loving Day Auction

The holiday that is most associated with love or loving is Valentine's Day. Of course, Mother's Day, Father's Day, and even the 4th of July are about love. But this June, VenoArt will host an auction in honor of National Loving Day. It is named for Mildred and Richard Loving, whose marriage in 1958 broke Virginia law since they were of different races. June 12 is the day celebrated in the United States and other countries to honor the 1967 Supreme Court ruling that struck down laws in many states that prohibited couples of different races from marrying.
