Reflecting the region’s dynamic art scene, the auction offers an exciting selection of artworks that highlight the rich and diverse artistic production from the Gulf, the Levant, Iraq, Iran and North Africa.

Paying tribute to female artistic creativity, the auction is led by  Samia Halaby’s mesmerising  Water Lilies, alongside works by Gazbia SirryEtel Adnan, Huguette Caland, Tala Madani, Emily Jacir and Tagreed Darghouth.

The ‘Saudi Now!’ section traces the cultural landscape of the Kingdom and includes masterpieces by Mohammed Al Saleem and Abdul Halim Radwi, works by celebrated contemporary names such as Ahmed Mater and Manal AlDowayan, and features the new generation of artists including Nasser Al Salem and Moath Alofi.

Building on the successes of Marhala: Highlights from the Dalloul Collection, the sale will present three works from the esteemed Dalloul Collection, Beirut, including a rare work on paper by Egyptian female modernist Inji Efflatoun and paintings by Nabil Anani and Karim Abou Shakra which pay tribute to Palestine’s rich cultural heritage.
