Husslehof is pleased to announce a solo exhibition by Nooshin Askari (*1989, district 17, Tehran, Iran) currently studying in the class of Judith Hopf at Städelschule, Frankfurt. Their artistic practice involves drawing, sculpture and video. They explore questions of gender identities in the construction of modern nation states, to reflect on social understandings of love as well as the idea of time and body. For their solo presentation at Husslehof Askari will show a new body of work in form of a sculpture installation. An artist book launch and reading event in collaboration with Baharan Eghbalzadeh & Jordan / Martin Hell will be held on the opening night.
