At the End of the Day

Curator: One of the major characteristics of Amin Nourani’s painting procedure is that he starts working on several pieces simultaneously, then each work goes through significant changes in the course of time and turn into something totally different. And the works in this series, are no exception to this rule. For instance, the initial “subject” of the current show was set aside in the process of painting, human figures were removed from the canvases, the background landscapes came forward to the foreground and the final composition was formed completely different from the initial photographs.
