To Think Otherwise

Curator: The image of a vase in empty space, is one that has been repeated in many cultural beliefs and context; but in the silence of its surrounding space, this very vase could come to create a new idea based on a different outlook or perception. A vase calmly sitting in vagure solitude, in front of dreary grey or indistinguishably colorful backgrounds are reasons I believe paintings to be an eternal comfort zone. The paintings are without titles, the titles are overwhelming lines in the presence of a vase. The presence of being; a presence in a context.
