“Mémoire de l'eau” is an exhibition at Maison Bélisle inspired by the explorations of Iranian artist Maryam Izadifard on the psychology of the body in relation to space. It is intended to be a reflection on the migratory movement and the status of immigrant. It is the logical continuation of a one-week residency by the artist in the basements of the Moulin neuf on Île-des-Moulins, a historic site in Vieux-Terrebonne. This multidisciplinary work combining drawings and paintings is a reflection on memory, loneliness and the migratory movement.
