Statement:

O Gallery presents “—”, an exhibition of paintings by Mina Nouri (b. 1951 Tehran).

The exhibition brings together three interconnected series, all focused on contrast—a recurring theme in her practice—expressed through symbols. Created between 2015 and 2024, the works are executed in oil on canvas or on cardboard mounted on MDF.

Mina Nouri’s approach deliberately avoids realism, direct dialogue with the audience, didacticism and narrative elements.

Featuring 36 pieces, this exhibition marks the first public presentation of these works.
