Statement:

This collection has taken shape from my attraction to liminal moments—the space between darkness and light, before one overcomes the other; a realm where something has not yet fully formed, and something else has not yet completely faded. ///

For me, painting does not begin with a figure or an image, but with the surface—layers of color that are built, covered, scraped, and worn away.

Through this ebb and flow, visual elements on the surface emerge, fade, and submerge once more into the layers of paint.

Each image simultaneously reveals something and holds something hidden.

I seek the moment between revelation and fading, order and chaos, permanence and transformation.

Here, erosion is not merely destruction; sometimes, it is a way to allow something else to be seen again.
