At the Edge of Time

Statement:

The gallery presents "At the edge of time", an exhibition bringing together the works of Reza Kabirnia and Mehdi Babaei around the notions of time, memory, appearance and disappearance.

Through their works, the two artists explore these moments of transition where the forms are transformed, where the visible reveals what remains buried, and where each image bears the trace of its own passage.

Reza Kabirnia is interested in the invisible footprints left by natural phenomena. In Petrichor, the rain becomes a revealer of memory: it brings out a buried presence in the earth and evokes a fragile moment, suspended between absence and appearance.

His works invite us to perceive what exists beyond the surface, in a subtle dialogue between nature and memory.
In The Flowers, Mehdi Babaei develops a reflection on the flower as a symbol of the cycle of life. ///

Through his works, the artist explores the notions of transformation, superposition and passage of time. In successive layers, the images are constructed between appearance and erasure, presence and disappearance, each trace keeping the memory of those who preceded it.

On the edge of time evokes this transitional space where the forms appear, transform and disappear.

The exhibition invites us to slow down, to observe the traces left by time and to contemplate the invisible links between matter, memory and the living.

It thus proposes a meditation on the ability of art to preserve what time transforms: sensations, gestures, materials and memories.
