Statement:

Presentation of two Iranian artists: photographs and video installations of Nazanin Pirmohammadi; paintings and drawings by Mehdi Babaei.

Nazanin Pirmohammadi began his studies in Tehran and is currently pursuing his 4th year at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. 

Her work is part of a reflection on social and political issues, in relation to the condition of women. 

She explores in her works the tension between invisibility and desire for visibility.

For Mehdi Babaei, painting is his main language of expression. 

He began his studies in Tehran, graduated from the Fine Arts of Versailles in 2024. 

In his work, he explores time, memory, and perception of space. 

The themes of his works are the human body and the portrait towards nature and still life, echoing his environment and experience.
