Statement:

Simine Paris is pleased to present a group exhibition bringing together three contemporary Iranian artists, embodying the generation both deeply rooted in their native land and eminently cosmopolitan, whose works are rich in their cultural heritage and their openness to the world.

Born between 1978 and 1991, Mehrdad Naraghi , Nastaran Safaei and Bibi-Setareh Manavi explore, each in their own way, the intersections between Iranian traditions and Western influences, in a personal and poetic approach.

This exhibition highlights this new, committed and conscious Iranian art scene, which draws on the symbols, techniques, and memories of Iran while confronting them with global contemporary issues.

Far from clichés, their works form a true cultural melting pot, revealing a generation in search of meaning and freedom of expression.
