In this edition of The Window Project, a series of acrylic, colored pencil and gouache paintings on canvas, titled “Tremor in the Brightest Day” by Mozhan Yaghoubi (b. 1997 Tehran) is on display.

Inspired by the vitality of summer flowers and the swift loss of their freshness, the series reflects on the fleeting presence of this splendid scene.

By presenting fragmented views of colorful flowers on vertically narrow canvases, the artist captures the landscape at a moment just before its withering.
