Statement:

Bird's Eye View is an exhibition about Voyages, about all those things that appear small and overall non-significant but are in fact important and leave their impression.

Arduous journeys that take their toll on the traveler but mostly leave them with meaningful memories.

Inspired by Conference of the Birds of Farid ud-Din Attar, Hejazi Sisters take the viewer on a travel that is entirely made up of their unbounded fantasia, a fragile yet beautiful world with emerald earthquakes, mysterious seas, shadows of butterflies and Daffodils that drink rain. ///

This phenomenal series of works tell the tale of the wonderers searching for ideals and knowledge.

A topographical mapping of a fantastical world that is meant to encourage those who seek different things in life and is a Call to think and live differently as the final thirty birds of Attar's epic did.

This is an ode to those thirty birds that went through the hardship and in return found meaning in their lives and by perseverance they proved that ultimately it is possible to live a better life.
