Statement:
Just as Iran is a land of diverse climates, its society reflects an equally remarkable diversity—one that cannot be fully capturedby a single artistic, media, or academic narrative.
An Ordinary Moment is a photo exhibition that seeks to portray this diversity through an artistic lens. ///
While the exhibition offers only a glimpse into the everyday stories that shape life in Iran, it provides audiences with a platform to engage with the daily narratives and ordinary events that unfold across the country—a story told through the lenses of lesser-known Iranian photographers.
This exhibition not only offers an accessible and authentic depiction of daily life in Iran but also highlights the work of photographers who have had limited opportunities to showcase their art.
These photographers, who often do not rely on photography as their primary livelihood, consistently produce meaningful and impactful projects.
Through their work, the exhibition presents intimate, everyday stories from the heart of Iranian society—capturing life as it appears in the streets, homes, and communities of Iran.
