Statement:

The city felt more like ours in the past than it does today. Was the city larger before or was its experience broader? It is fascinating how it contradicts: as the city expanded, its experience grew smaller! How ironic! Where we used to know its every corner, gradually changed...///

The cinemas left abandoned, the shutters came down. We no longer schedule events midweek- especially not in the city center! The distance of our experience has reduced to a one-kilometer radius from our living room couch!

At most a quick passing, or a snapshot, like a Polaroid. Save subtitles for the archive! Remember it. Maybe this is the experience of the New Age... The New Age collection is my effort to gather what was, with memorabilia of the familiar city in the new era.
