Statement:
“You Are in Your Head” is the title of a group exhibition that has been curated after a short period of renovating a seventy-year-old building. “You Are in Your Head” places the viewer on a new path of seeing. This exhibition explores the continuous and discontinuous relationships between humans and their surrounding environment. Following the traditions of Soo contemporary, this exhibition aims to dissolve the conventional modes of art that artists have preserved throughout art history and examines the performative aspects of art arrangement in contemporary art.
In this exhibition, contemporary installations and objects are placed alongside the art history timeline and playfully resist against it, enticing the audience to experience and perceive in new ways. But you are in your head.
