Statement:
The creation of an artwork can be likened to a cyclical journey among different elements such as media, technique, subject matter, and the artist's world. It is a journey that does not follow a linear path but rather exists in synchronicity, revolving around the artist's orbit. In this context, one of the artist's foremost concerns, beyond technique, is perhaps the purpose behind using a specific medium, which involves both constructing that purpose for the creator and reconstructing it for the viewer. The current show is the result of the efforts of artists who, in addition to responding to the challenges of utilizing the medium and technique of printmaking, have confronted the fundamental question of why they have chosen printmaking as their medium.///

In other words, both the medium itself and the subject matter (before becoming personalized and at the outset) are printmaking. Within this framework, printmaking is seen as a representation of human life, embodying certain essences and providing a platform for actions that similar to metaphors, both on a small and large scale, can serve as the subject, woven into the technique of the artwork. Here, the artist reclaims their concems, motivations, experiences, and their own world through the act and nature of printmaking, subsequently engaging in a dialogue facilitated by printmaking as the medium. This conversation has led to the exploration and expansion of the artist's worldview and the broadening of the direct significance of printmaking.

The artists express their own world in their works, with a focus on mediation-centeredness, prediction, coincidence, reproduction, and repetition.
