Statment:

The exhibition of artworks by Marzieh Golestaneh in titled  "Sleep Within Awakening" from June 16th to June 21th takes place at Aknoon Gallery.

Sleep as a word is Defined as:

being unable to willingly control the physical world, and the decrease of vigilance, in a way that the body's mechanism changes and the illusion of sight replaces the real, tangible world.
Sleep is a form against being awake.
Being awake is the ability to control the physical world and what lies around us. Sometimes we go into deep sleep, sometimes our dreams are colored, and sometimes Black and white.
This collection is the result of the moments when people around me are asleep.
Sleep can be a small delay, the feeling of comfort and relief to the person asleep and the eye that sees it, or a long period of neglect and agitation which can be irreparable for the eye and the one who
Is asleep.
