We The Women is a collective performance to empower women against whoever and whatever threatens their rights. More specifically, this performance is about standing in solidarity with Afghan women against the Taliban’s black enforced law.

Leila Ghasempor is a Kurdish-Iranian interdisciplinary artist and educator in social art practice. She pursues her work in academic and educational research, aiming toward more accessible education and bringing positive influences to the community that she works with. Ghasempor’s works reflect her deep concern about the destruction caused by war and violence on human beings and the universe. They are about pain, loss, and displacement. Her works are based on transformative research and draw attention to specific social issues.
