The Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) is an art museum located in South Bank, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is a single institution located across two adjacent river-side buildings in the Cultural Precinct at Brisbane's South Bank. QAGOMA holds a Collection of over 17,000 works of historical, modern and contemporary art, and stages a dynamic program of Australian and international exhibitions. The gallery is part of the Queensland Cultural Centre. The Queensland Art Gallery is owned and operated by the Government of Queensland, which created the institution in 1895 as the Queensland National Art Gallery.
Open from 12 noon Anzac Day Closed Good Friday, Christmas and Boxing Day.
