Carre dArt
The Carré d'Art Museum, designed by Norman Foster, opened in 1993. The museum's exclusive collection includes 600 works. Similar to its Parisian model, the Centre Georges Pompidou, the Carré d'Art Museum not only houses a multimedia library but also a museum of contemporary art, providing a new venue for local residents and visitors from further afield.
