Delgosha Gallery at Paris Internationale art fair 2021
The 7th edition of Paris Internationale will be held on October 19-24, 2021, at avenue Victor Hugo, with 36 galleries representing 21 countries. Delgosha Gallery showcased the works of Hayedeh Ayazi at this art fair.
Throughout her latest collection entitled "New Year's Owl", Ayazi depicts bitter and sweet events in a poetic, humorous, and at the same time critical manner. Although she refers to many current events, she also shows that they are similar to those unpleasant events that have occurred in the past. Using many colors and details, she depicted all events with their good and bad components and captured reality as a photojournalist would.
Hayedeh Ayazi was born in Tehran in 1961. Her works are inspired by Iranian Negargari(Persian Miniature), Qahveh-Khaneh painting, Naqqali(Oral folk tales from ancient times), and calligraphy. In her works, subjects and mythological and historical figures are linked together and current events are displayed alongside events from the past.
Additionally, she considers the impact of humans on the environment. In Delgosha Gallery, she has had three solo exhibitions and several group exhibitions.
