Borås Art Museum | PA Halls Terrass | Borås | SwedenBetween June 15 and September 15, visitors can take part in the magnificent and thought-provoking contemporary art in the Borås Art Museum and around the city's public spaces.
This year's biennial is entitled Layers, Loops, Lines and is curated by Caroline Gustafsson and Daniel Ricardo Terres. The title alludes to the relationship between time, space and place, as well as its connections to society, surroundings and environment. In different ways, our current surrounding world and contemporary times are commented on, where art takes us to other geographies and presents alternative and fictional worlds - where the cosmological, natural scientific as well as enigmatic and spiritual intertwine.
Visitor Information
- Borås Art Biennial 2024 is shown indoors at the Borås Art Museum, Stadsparksbadet, the Textile Museum and the Textile Fashion Center, as well as outdoors around the city center.

It is with pride that Borås Art Museum presents the international art biennial Borås Art Biennial for the eighth time—this year with the title Layers, Loops, Lines and an exploration of time, space, and place. Between June 15 and September 15, visitors can experience magnificent and thought-provoking contemporary art inside Borås Art Museum and throughout the city’s public spaces.
