Millon announced its 21st auction dedicated to modern and contemporary Middle Eastern art, which will be held in Paris on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
This new edition showcases major works by key figures in the Arab, Iranian, and Turkish art scene.
Highlights include:
– A canvas by Huguette Caland, from the Silent Letters series
– A rare work by Effat Naghi, a pioneer of Egyptian modernism
– An emblematic painting by Omar El Nagdi, exhibited in Abu Dhabi in 1975
– Meditative sculptures by Chaouki Choukini, powerfully silent
– A vibrant painting by Etel Adnan, a concentration of light and color
A special focus will be on Fikret Moualla, with a remarkable collection of paintings and drawings.
The sale also features a selection of selected works from Lebanon, Egypt, Iran, Iraq and Turkey, offering a dense, free and unique panorama of modern and contemporary creation in the Middle East.
