This sale with the title "Christie's First Open" focuses on an exceptional selection of works by the most significant and in-demand post-war and contemporary artists such as Ernie Barnes, Andy Warhol, Stanley Whitney, Lynne Drexler, Willem De Kooning, Elaine De Kooning, Anselm Kiefer, Mark Tobey, and many others.

Christie's, founded in 1766 in London, is one of the world's greatest and most important auction houses that has active offices in 46 countries today. It has salerooms in Amsterdam, Dubai, Geneva, Hong Kong, London, Milan, New York, Paris, Shanghai, and Zurich.

One work by the Iranian artist, Kour Pour, is featured in this auction with an estimate of 10,000 to 15,000 USD.
