The collection of the auction reflects a passionate interest primarily in Swedish postmodernism but with international influences. The artist collective Wallda, formed in the early 1980s by Max Book, Eva Löfdahl, and Stig Sjölund, played a significant role in the Swedish postmodern development.

The Wallda group used various forms of expression such as painting, sculpture, installation, or performance, operating outside the traditional museum and gallery spaces of the time.
