Artists from across the US, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) have come together to support the New York-based nonprofit cultural institution, ArteEast, in honor of its 21st anniversary.

This exclusive auction is only open from Wednesday, November 6th to Wednesday, November 20th and is organized in tandem to ArteEast’s benefit. Featured artists include Hadieh Shafie, Melissa Brown, Basim Magdy, Morehshin Allahyari, Morgan Blair, Hiba Kalache, Maia Ruth Lee, Shiva Ahmadi, Jay Miriam, and Bahar Sabzevari, among many others.

Proceeds will support ArteEast’s efforts to advocate for and amplify the voice of artists and filmmakers from the Middle East, North Africa and their diasporas through diverse and inclusive programs.///

Since its founding in 2003 as a NY-based arts collective specializing in Middle Eastern film programming, ArteEast has become a leading organization supporting artists from the South West Asia North Africa (SWANA) region and its diaspora, engaging with New York, U.S. and international audiences and arts communities. ArteEast’s programs serve as a bridge that amplify the voices of, and facilitate the interaction of the public with artists, filmmakers, curators, and thought leaders rooted to the SWANA region and its diaspora.

Bidding for this auction will take place exclusively on Artsy and will begin  to close on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 12:00pm EST.
