Xamoosh (b. 1989, Tehran) began his graffiti practice in 2007 by tagging walls in western Tehran. Over more than a decade of working with Persian graffiti writing, he has explored various lettering styles and later expanded his practice into painting and urban art. In recent years, Xamoosh has created works addressing social subjects and cultural roots in urban spaces. His current practice primarily focuses on developing Persian graffiti writing and exploring different approaches within the medium.
