Aria Yari (b. 1994, Tehran) began his artistic practice in childhood, studying the fundamentals of art at the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, and later studied Textile and Fashion Design at Payame Noor University. He entered the field of graffiti at 18, combining its visual language with elements of Persian calligraphy, particularly Nastaliq, and contemporary literature. After a several-year hiatus, Yari returned to public art in 2021, focusing on glass and incorporating the glass-fusing technique into his practice. His work expanded from political, social, and historical themes toward the relationship between humans and their environment. More than 100 of his works have been installed in urban spaces. His first exhibition was the 13th edition of “New Generation Selected” at Homa Gallery, followed by participation in several group exhibitions.
