Spring/Break Art Show began with Spring/Break New York in 2012 as a fair to showcase emerging and lesser-known artists to an international audience. After making its mark in this city, the brand launched an inaugural show in Los Angeles in 2019. Spring/Break Art Show Los Angeles takes place during vibrant and highly attend Frieze week. It brings together  more than 40 exhibitors from all over the USA with artists mainly coming from the Los Angeles area.

Spring/Break returns for its  5th edition in Los Angeles February 2024  and its 13th New York City edition later in the year. The 2024 New York City and Los Angeles theme is  INT./EXT. (interior/exterior) .The Theme seeks any and all related to the transformation from inner to outer, architectural to transcendent, interior and domestic to beyond.
