Grand Palais | Avenue Winston Churchill | Paris | FranceParis. Marking the bicentenary of photography, this internationally renowned fair offers an opportunity to revisit the evolution of photography and explore its continuing transformation as an artistic and cultural medium.
At the heart of the 2026 edition is a dialogue between the history of photography, contemporary artistic practices, and the future of image-making. From historic photographic prints and analog processes to contemporary artworks, large-scale installations, photobooks, and digital experimentation, the fair brings together diverse approaches that challenge and expand the boundaries of visual expression.
The programme features galleries, artists, publishers, collectors, and cultural institutions from around the world. Highlights include a specially curated presentation drawn from the Centre Pompidou’s photography collection, conversations and book talks, and Elles × Paris Photo, a programme dedicated to enhancing the visibility of women artists in photography.
More than a celebration of a two-hundred-year artistic legacy, Paris Photo 2026 invites visitors to reflect on photography’s enduring relationship with memory, identity, history, and technological change. By connecting pioneering photographic practices with emerging visions, the fair explores how images shape our understanding of the world and continue to redefine the possibilities of contemporary art.
