The 2026 edition of Libros Mutantes returns with its largest programme to date, bringing together publishers, designers and artists from across the globe over three days. Hosted at La Casa Encendida, the fair presents a wide range of publications, graphic design projects and experimental works, alongside international guests, workshops and a new programme of continuous live music, reaffirming its role as a key meeting point for the independent publishing scene.

Centred around the theme “The Illusion of Transparency,” this edition reflects on the gap between what we intend to communicate and how it is ultimately perceived. Embracing misinterpretation and multiplicity rather than clarity, the fair creates a space where diverse perspectives coexist. Through talks, workshops and multidisciplinary projects, Libros Mutantes 2026 offers an open platform for exchange, unexpected encounters and new approaches to publishing and visual culture.
