Investec Cape Town Art Fair is Africa's largest art fair. With over 10 exhibitors, 25000 visitors, and 6500 VIPs, it offers a platform for galleries, collectors, curatorsand artists from around the globe to create connections at the forefront of contemporary art. Investec Cape Town Art Fair hosts its 11th edition from 16 to18 February at Cape Town International Convention Centre.
The 2024 edition of the fair is having a new theme: Unbound. The fair takes as its starting point the boundless imagination and limitless potential of art to inspire and challenge. It provides a platform for art that provokes the imagination and breaks away from traditional storytelling and social expectations.

Investec Cape Town Art Fair Opens Its 11th Edition, With an Emphasis on Highlighting South Africa’s Local Art Scene
Laura Vincenti, the fair’s director, described the last decade as “a learning curve” to ART News. In that time, she has focused on bringing “galleries with content that communicates with the local scene,” she said. “I have learned that not all galleries are prepared to show in Cape Town.”
